HISTORY

Budi Luhur Kindergarten was officially established on July 20, 1993. In its early years, the school building was still very modest and looked quite different from what we see today. Over time, we have continuously strived to enhance our learning programs and improve the quality of our teachers at Budi Luhur Playgroup-Kindergarten.

As part of our commitment to educational excellence, in July 2012 Budi Luhur Kindergarten introduced a bilingual program in the learning process, particularly in Math, Science, and English.

In our teaching and learning activities, we nurture 11 aspects of child development: Sensory, Gross Motor, Fine Motor, Cognitive & Science, Language, Social-Emotional, Multicultural, Technology, Numeracy, Pre-Reading, and Writing. To build students’ character and moral values, we instill the 9 Pillars of Budi Luhur Values, which are practiced in daily life. These efforts are further strengthened through Character Building programs and the introduction of Indonesia’s rich religious diversity.

To foster creativity and independence, students are engaged in a variety of enriching activities, including Cooking Class, Earth Day, Animal Day, Happy Day, Indonesian Independence Day, Charity Program, Mini Trip, Field Trip, and more.

Furthermore, to support the development of students’ interests and talents, Budi Luhur Kindergarten offers a wide range of extracurricular activities, such as Dancing, Futsal, Math & Numeracy, Language & Literacy, and Drawing. All activities are thoughtfully designed to be both enjoyable and educational, ensuring that children not only learn but also create meaningful and memorable experiences.
